Official Hug a Moderator Day
« on: September 16, 2006, 04:48:01 pm »
I'd just like to give a shout out to the moderators of these forums, who work so tirelessly and often unobservably behind the scenes.

*HUGS*  ;D  And, thanks for being there.

Ditto, Wellington.

It almost feels safe enough to participate in the forums again without the fear of being attacked or wrongly accused by certain members. I hope that Jonathan will return soon.

I think I’ll stay away awhile longer.

I can only Imagine having to oversee ALL of the forums, and each post in each one, Every Day....
(especially with some of the Unprecedented stuff going down just lately....)

Hugs indeed, Hell, Im thinking more of a three day spa weekend in a tranquil tropical thing..  smiling people bringing yummy  health drinks, facials with good smelling plant extracts, seaweed scrubs, deep tissue massage by a pair of muscular therapists that dont talk too much, maybe some good smelling shampoo and a naked swim in the surf... foot massage, some warm stones on the small of the back , falling asleep in one of those really good matresses listening to the offshore breeze in the surf...

Then again they might not come back.. just sit around naked, packed in seaweed with a pina colada in one hand, a cucumber/yogurt beauty mask on and sun warmed volcanic glass beads between their toes.... while the sun goes down and the band warms up...

YA make that a  (((((Hug)))))   X 4...

aww shucks, I missed the hug day.  Thank you Ann, Andy, Tim and Peter.  You guys do the impossible job and though many of us may get defensive about what you guys do, when it impacts us directly, I think we all realize that you have been fair, open, upfront and most of all, your only interest is seeing that the forums remain a safe, productive and fun place to be.

Thanks
