this past weekend i got very drunk, i walked in to a bar, and the girl sat next to me glimpsed at me, for some reason i cant remember , i put my left hand up her skirt and started to finger her with three fingers , i then pulled out my penis and she gave me a hand job like for 3 minutes , as we were in the club not much could happen, she then got up and walked out i followed her, i was so drunk but i can remember we kissed and i asked her to come to the car, Thank GOD she did not!!! she went on her way and i did as well, I did not kiss her . I did not sleep with her!!!! I fingered a total stranger and got a 3 minute hand job  from her. I don’t know if she was on her periods, i don’t know her name, i don’t know what was in her hand etc.......I checked my hands i did not have any deep cuts, i had stumbled down earlier that night like 30 minutes earlier but had no cuts or bruises, microscopic if any!!!!!!!!!! Im worried what if she was on her period, although i had no blood on my finger as far as im concerned, and she kept putting her panties back on in the right direction after i fingered her, then touched my penis, Im afraid about getting HIV from this incident, i have a faithful girlfriend, and i know i made a horrible mistake . PLEASE HELP, what are the chances

Fingering, kissing or hand jobs are not a risk for HIV and no has ever been infected in that manner . The risk factors for sexually transmitting HIV is from unprotected anal and vaginal sex .

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together.

To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI. Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Have a look through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.

Although you did not have a risk and do not need to test for this specific incident , anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv. Some of the other STIs can be present with no obvious symptoms, so the only way to know for sure is to test.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

Hi

I slept with a hiv positive girl on friday, without a condom, for ten minutes i had slept wth her before with a condom but this time i did not use one because we were drunk, the first time was 10 minutes and the second was 7 minutes but i did not ejaculate.

 We tested today, I was negative and she was positive, (the test was confirmed) I Have been put on PEP combivir and Stocrin on the 70th hour after the sexual encounter, it hapened on friday night at 10pm ive been put on PEP on monday evening at 7pm the doctor says the effect is 20% at 70hrs but 90% at 8 hrs, unfortunately this is has been my luck!!!!!???

The girl will check her viral load tomorrow and let me know! ( she was supposed to let me know today but has not) She says she has no STDS , i got tested for stds when i tested and i was fine, cause my cousin mentioned to me the girl may have HIV

To make matters worse i came inside her without a condom.!!!!!!!

She says she did not know she had it, but my cousin had an idea she did cause he is maried to her twin sister, she says she had a scare a yr earlier!!!!! but did not know she had it!!!!!

Even more worse her babys father slept with her a month n half a ago which means that they may be reinfecting , she got a child 10 months ago and says the child is fine!


Im so confused abt this whole situation i feel im at the end of the earth, I only slept with her without  a condom once and the second time lasted seven minutes and got turned off so i did not come


What are the chances that im infected?? and how do i handle this situation. Is this PEP effective and secondly the chances of contraction???

While you have had a risk, you're not very likely to end up hiv positive following one instance of unprotected insertive vaginal intercourse even without PEP. I was with an hiv negative man for a year and a half before I found out I was hiv positive but he remained hiv negative, despite the fact that we never used condoms.

Hiv is much more difficult to transmit from the receptive partner to the insertive partner. Whether or not you came inside her does not matter - it does not increase your risk.

As you are on PEP, even though it wasn't started right away, you are not likely at all to end up hiv positive. Just keep taking the meds every day and you'll be fine.

Whether or not she knew she had hiv is irrelevant to your situation. You need to understand that ANYONE you have sex with is potentially hiv positive and protect yourself accordingly by using condoms. Protecting yourself is YOUR responsibility.

You need to know that taking PEP extends your hiv testing window period by 28 days - the amount of time you take the meds.

The earliest you should test again is at six weeks following your last dose of PEP. A negative result at this point must be confirmed at three months (following your last dose of PEP) but is highly unlikely to change.

To sum up, keep taking the meds and be confident that you will test hiv negative when you test at the appropriate time. Just learn from this and always insist on condoms.
