I picked up algebra for dummies and still haven't gotten the answer to your math problem- using 0 in any equation works so I don't think 0 was the answer.

Hey buddy, I think I missed something. Are you now able to go to the school you wanted? Did you move in with your dad? And don't they supply school books anymore? I know I'm old, but wow.

I moved in with my dad (pretty much) ^^;. I'm going to the school I want. And yes, they supply us with basic textbooks, but I always like to have extra stuff to help me. I learn best that way.

The best books to read are the ones that interest you. Since you have a love of animals go with that. My taste in reading is catholic , everything from Karla Frida to Frederico Lorca Garcia;
Cinema
"Hitchcock by Truffaut"  about Alfred Hitchcock
"The Cinema of Orson Welles" Peter Cowie
"Garden of the Fitzi Continis" Giorgio Bassini
"Jules And Jim" Henri Pierre Roche
Poetry
"Poet In New York" F G Lorca
"Flowers of Evil"  Charles Baudelaire
History
"In the Heart of the Sea - the tragedy of the Whaleship Essex"- Nathaniel Philbrook- think Moby Dick
What kind of reader are you? If you aren't interested in a subject you won't read the book! What year are you in?
I also loved "Naked Lunch"- Burroughs, "1984"  "Animal Farm" " Fahrenheit 451" " MAster and Margarita" " Fantomas"
Most of my books where bought in London and I find B&N just overloads with Stephen King

I'm a junior. 11th grade. And I really AM interested in everything. Hehe. But firstly I like animals and even though I'm about as brave as my favorite animal (squeak!) I like horror a lot.

Have you read H.P. Lovecraft,  E.A. Poe, Kafka.? Actually I would tell you to check out comic books like Sandman by Neil Gaiman and Magic the artwork is fantastic.
As for school try and get books both on philosophical and mathematical logic. Ask a teacher if they can recommend something as I am a bit out of it as you can read in my other posts. If you can get a class on the subject all the better. Now saying that I think I will hit the book store!
Definitely get Master and Margerita

 Books everyone here should read
"Amusing Ourselves To Death" by Neil Postman and everything by Edward T Hall.
Though I read them in later life.
