A new way of displaying music

Hi All,

I hope your week is off to a good start and you're doing something that makes you happy. 

I have a new fun way that I display my vinyl.  I don't have many so I want to display it and not just put it in a drawer and never see it. Then again I already have the music on my phone so I can still enjoy it.

I used to have a collection of ceramic/misc masks. I filled up every piece of wall in the foyer of my old home up in Ohio. At one time I had 312 masks! So many of my pictures are lost to me on a dead hard drive; but luckily I kept a website about my life and have at least some crappy pictures like this one.



I have a small collection of Coca-Cola stuff on my dresser here at my home in SC. Since I'm such a coke addict LOL my friends often pick up coke themed items for me, so that collection started by default. LOL I guess we have a collection of puzzles. We have nearly 400. About 200 we completed and like enough to keep to do again (except for 2 that I glued together because although beautiful, they were so freaking hard I NEVER want to do them again! I have these in frames but I need to get them matted up like your pieces.), and the other half of the collection are puzzles to do.

My other collections are digital - 402gb of music, 300gb of porn, and 7883 MM romance books.

Those masks are so cool.  Then again I'm sure at some time they may have been looking at you.    It also shows have unique those are.

I've lost a lot of my porn collection over the year and just realized a few good ones I had were on the laptop that crashed a few months back.  Maybe I'll find some new stuff this weekend.

P.S. I just realized how to "quote" and add "pics" with this thread.  I'm a slow learned at times.

I've always read a ton (easily 4-8 books a week), and the categories vary. SciFi, horror, bios, political, fantasy, thrillers, best sellers, mysteries, dystopian futures, etc. I hate biographies, although I do read some here and there. I adore science fiction though!

Then last April, I ended up with a male/male romance and got swept away. Ok, so about a third of these books are clearly just smut.....mmmm....the rest have sort of a story with lots of sex, lots have HEA (happily ever after), and some are super sweet while others are super angsty love stories. While a lot of these books are kind of cheesy, a whole lot of them are actually quite well-written (.....and edited. Nothing peeves me more that errors in books.

Every time I mention this genre, I get a lot of weird looks; but it was kind of earth-shattering when I started reading these books. I mean whole books about gay guys falling in love?!?! where was this kind of book in the early 80s? Reading books like this about other healthy (and unhealthy) m/m relationships and the stories of other people's struggles and accomplishments with coming out, I might have had an easier time as a young adult and even better relationships than some that I had. When all you knew all your early life were stories of heteronormative relationships and all the expectations that came with that "lifestyle", I really envy this generation growing up with marriage as a right and examples, real life and written, of how not to live the heteronormative life.

So in the past year I've read hundreds of these books. Who would have known that these books came in all genres too: SciFi, horror, political, fantasy, thrillers, mysteries, dystopian futures, paranormal (ghosts, shifters, werewolves, vamps, etc). Ok I have to admit a secret, as a switch, the bdsm ones are my favorites although I'm always a sucker for a good werewolf pack novel.
