This ancient law was struck down last week in Texas.  Lyn was on the Dudley & Bob Show saying "Forbidden Fruit sells DILDOES!  And we always have!"

I haven't been into any of their stores in several years, and so I was surprised to see in the video how many crotch rockets they actually carry. In the 90's they had about 4.  They got busted once for having a blow-up sheep, not becuase it was a sheep but becuase there was an orifice.

And for God's sake, don't blame it on Austin; we're the only blue area in a red (neck) state. Lynand a few other "non-smut" retailers like her were instrumental in making rubber dick sales legal; we've been able to buy this stuff for years from seedy stores, whereas Forbidden Fruit was targeted just because they're located right off of Sixth Street, famous for I don't know what except frat boys pissing and puking.  It was pretty exciting when I was about 13.

You sound like an authority on the subject so I defer to you. I just thought it was a fun video. I had no idea the law was recently struck down  ;D

Well, I didn't even know about this law or it's change, but being from Austin, it's nice to know that others are keeping up with such laws.  Thus, thank you for the update.  For a real educational video, please watch "The Conversation" intro video created to promote our new book and film project.
