I do have a contest with myself

Good numbers Phil !

Talking about numbers, what about reporting your efforts in loosing some weight just as seriously as you are doing with your VL and make it an additionnal challenge.

My experience is that I had to lose weight and not until BMI crossed the 25-24 line did I start seing the effect on lipids (that was before the meds, though...)

Self reporting of weight/numbers can be a good way to motivate oneself

Once again : happy to see you are handling this virus so well

Thanks for the support Eric and the advice --

Actually, my weight is good ---- I'm 6'1-1/2 and weigh 180 lbs. --- it's just distributed in the wrong place right now -- all going to the stomach -- (attributed - I believe - to the meds, the beers, the choice of food, lack of exercise, and being 44 years old)....

Doc really wants me to watch what I eat, to do some exercise, and to quit smoking.  Hopefully, I can make the necessary changes in those areas and get the weight to go to better places on my body.  I still look mighty fine though -- if I may say so myself  - LOL   ;D

Unless you know some means to reduce your age or meds, then, at least, you have a pretty good list of things that CAN be addressed

Cheers
