i had protected sex with csw(india)( 1to2 mins)2 years back.however after sex i wore my underwear with condom still on my penis.i took off condom after going to bathroom 15 mins later.so is there any possibility that hiv virus in vaginal secretions on my underwear could get to tip of my penis.i also urinated after that and there was some residual urine under my foreskin.is testing required???

There was absolutely no risk whatsoever during this recent incident. HIV is a fragile virus and not easily transmitted. All you have to do to protect yourself in terms of potential risks sexually is to always, without exception, wear a condom for both vaginal and anal intercourse. It's really just that simple.

This time there's no cause for concern nor any need for testing.

Cheers.

It doesn't matter where you have sex or whom you have it with, whether a professional or a civilian.

What matters is what sexual acts you do. The only confirmed ones for HIV risk are unprotected vaginal and anal intercourse. So nothing you did put you at risk. Period. End of story.

First off HIV is not alive. It's either active or inactive and once the virus is outside the host it is rendered in active.

You've been told quite clearly that you have no cause for concern. If you continue to indulge in drama over a non-risk situation you are very quickly going to find yourself getting a 28 day Time Out from this site.

You do not have an HIV problem. Cut it out and get on with your life, no kidding.

You were not at risk.

ur risk of exposure is astronomically, preposterously small. regardless, regular testing is a good idea. it is false to say that anal or vaginal sex with a condom is risk free...it is simply far lower risk.

Enteric fever is entirely unrelated to HIV and is not relevant to the matters you are posting about.

No Doc, it isn't due to acute HIV infection. The symptoms of acute HIV infection that some people experience do not take a year to show up.

HIV is not transmitted from environmental surfaces whether it be clothing, furniture, doorknobs or clippers at the barbershop. It's a fragile virus that requires the kind of receptive setting provided by unprotected vaginal and anal intercourse.

You are worrying needlessly. Get on with your life and stop this unwarranted drama.

We've given you the real deal about your situation. NO RISK. Period! End of story. If you continue to surf the net looking for fuel to feed your fears I can promise you that you will find plenty. All to no good purpose.

And none of it will change the absolutely non-risk circumstances of your situation, whether you choose to believe that or not. However, I will caution you that you are quickly heading for a 28 Time Out from this site for returning repeatedly over a non-risk situation. Consider yourself warned.

   Anyone who continues to post excessively, questioning a conclusive negative result or no-risk situation, will be subject to a four week Time Out (a temporary ban from the Forums). If you continue to post excessively after one Time Out, you may be given a second Time Out which will last eight weeks. There is no third Time Out - it is a permanent ban. The purpose of a Time Out is to encourage you to seek the face-to-face help we cannot provide on this forum.

You have been coming here long enough to know that your latest "question" is another non-risk.

If you haven't already read our lesson on Transmission then you ought to do that. There's a link to it in the Welcome thread which opens this section. We are not here to spend time answering questions for you everytime you have another burst of fear about some non-risk.

I suggest  you need to get some professional help to deal with your unwarranted fears. We can't help you with that need in this setting.

You also need to know that if you come back with another of these questions you are going to get a 28 day Time Out from the site. HIV is not your problem. Your fears are the problem.

Once again I've merged your threads. You have been asked before to keep all of your entries in the same thread.

Thus far you have never reported anything that was a genuine risk for HIV. That's all been explained to you many times. A negative HIV test result at 13 weeks is reliable. To talk about taking one or the sensitivity of one at 24 months is frankly ridiculous.

Use condoms everytime for vaginal and anal intercourse and you won't need to worry about the sexual transmission of HIV.

In the meantime we've had enough for now of this hysterical nonsense from you. I am giving you your second Time Out, this one for 56 days. You have been warned several times. Don't make the mistake of trying to get around it by creating a new name. We'll spot that right off and it will get you permanently banned from the site.

Give up this nonsensical stuff and get on with your life.

It helps us to help you when you keep all your thoughts or questions in one thread and it helps other readers to follow the discussion. Additional threads will be merged.

Doc,

How many times do you have to be told to use your original thread? How many times do we have to merge your threads for you?

And how many times are you going to come back here with basic no-risk questions? Kissing is absolutely NOT a risk for hiv infection. Saliva is not infectious and you'd know that if you bothered to read the Transmission Lesson like you've been repeatedly asked to.
