hmmm......

HELL YES.

Partyline Democrat here (sorry, third parties).

Interestingly in the city of Minneapolis we have a ballot initiative to implement run-off voting, in where we could pick second choices.  If our first choice doesn't muster enough votes, our second choice gets counted.  If this passes, I will vote outside of partyline, at least in city races!

I'm gonna vote!  I too am sick of some of the political ads.  Ironically, I grew up in a very republican family and pretty much thought that was the only way.  Hummmm....  I wonder where else I've been wrong?

No voting for me this year :(, Since I just moved to Arizona I'm not registered here and didn't feel right voting in Oregon since I don't live there anymore. I thought about sending in my ballot since I still own my house there but just thought I'd skip it this year. First time since 1988 of not voting.

Hello Eric,

It is GOOD that your made this a new topic as it is ever so important for each and everyone of us to GO OUT AND VOTE.

To everyone, this is WHERE you have the OPPORTUNITY to be a "voice" through your participation in voting.

EVERY SINGLE VOTE COUNTS. It does not matter if you are Democrat or Republican. This is WHY the voting system was created so that WE can have INPUT on WHOM should be WHERE in office.

Make the BEST of each and every single Day!

I find it hard to stomach ever voting for a Republican when they run campaigns based in part on gay baiting.

I always vote...voted early via mail a few weeks ago.  I'm a registered Independent but generally vote Democratic.  However I tend more towards Republicans (most of whom are moderate) on the County supervisor level.  Democrats overall seem to want to raise my property tax more and more for a bunch of unnecessary stuff.  I can't afford to subsidize everyone's wish lists around here!

Arizona this year has the most propositions of any state...twenty.  Likewise I voted against anything that would raise taxes.

It wasn't a straight party ticket though. I voted for one Green Party candidate for State Public Regulation Commission.

Voting is a right too many take for granted.

VOTE! VOTE! VOTE!

The first president I voted for was Nixon. (Sorry I was young.) And I've never missed any election since then. Both my parents were immigrants to this country and once they became citizens, the privilege/right to vote was their proudest moment.

For the first time ever I’m voting party line. (Democrats.) We need to put back the power of balance in our government. I’m tired of the Republican Rich; White Evangelical Hate Mongers running America into the ground. over 50% of American citizens have no say in what direction this country goes. And even less have complete control over our private lives.

I’m sick and tired of bible thumpers telling me how to live my life especially when they keep falling out of the closet themselves. i.e.. Ted Haggard.

I voted.  It was mainly democrat, but a few republicans were thrown in.  We also had a sherif election locally and the democrat guy is a doornob, hence my republican vote.  Unfortunately nobody was running against Richard Lugar or I would have voted for them.  I am definitely in the minority though.  I live in a part of Indiana where it is hugely Republican.  I saw so many pro-bush, one man one woman marriage, and anti-abortion bumper stickers it gave me the heebie jeebies.  I still remember back in 2004 my Kerry sign being stolen from my yard.....
