High risk and worried sick

First off thanks for this site and the work you have put in.

Hoping that you can alleviate some of my concerns, even with reading multiple pages of posts I’m still having a tough time.

Around 30 days ago I had a unprotected sexual encounter with a female, we had sex twice and only once time I ejaculated in her.

5-7 days after that I had a herpes out break on my lip ( I usually get this once a year )
A few days after that I developed a sore throat, white tongue ,and swollen/ bleeding gums. one lymph node on right side of neck was swollen. The lymph node swelling and gum lasted about 2-3 weeks, after that The white tongue and dry mouth persists to this day. Over the last few days my stomach has been making digestion sounds at almost everything I intake and even when I don’t eat. My last concern is 4-5 what look like tiny blisters on my right fore arm and maybe 2-3 on my left. I haven’t had a fever yet that I can discern.

I am going to get tested tomorrow but the stress of this has kept me up almost every night, it’s constantly on the fore front of my mind almost every waking minute to the point I almost shut down.

I guess my main question is it possible to have this many symptoms at the same time.

Hiya,

Nothing you mentioned would be HIV specific and some of it would not be HIV related regardless of your HIV status. Go see your local healthcare provider and treat whatever is making you feel unwell instead of stressing about it, I hope you feel better soon.

Regarding your HIV status, test with a blood-drawn (lab) HIV antibodies test at six weeks post-incident, and a negative result at that time will rarely ever change. If you wish, although generally not needed, you can retest at three months post-incident.

Here's what you need to know to avoid HIV infection:
Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, every time, no exceptions. Continue using PrEP as an additional layer of HIV protection.

Keep in mind that some sexual practices which may be described as ‘safe’ in terms of HIV transmission might still pose a risk for transmission of other STI's, so please do get fully tested regularly and at least yearly for all STI's including but not limited to HIV and test more frequently if unprotected intercourse occurs

Also, note that it is possible to have an STI and show no signs or symptoms and the only way of knowing is by testing.

No, and I've already explained that nothing you mentioned would be HIV specific and some of it would not be HIV related regardless of your HIV status.

Thanks for the advice. I have tested negative for all std’s. Primarily hiv @ 6, 12 week mark. Even after my first  post it was almost a manic state that I’d convinced myself of infection and every little bump or lymph, thrush , sore throat,  was a positive.

To all who have combed through these forums looking for similarities to symptoms let me assure you that the mind can be insanely good at matching and creating symptoms. That being said do get tested and be safe! All of my symptoms have calmed down and trust me when I say I tested for everything from CMV to HIV. Be well all as this will be my last post on here.
