Meet my new cat
« on: August 21, 2014, 06:50:54 am »
This is MiMi (It was the name she came with). She is my new cat. She has settled in very quickly to her new home. She's long haired but was shaved because her fur was matted when she arrived at the shelter. She is 7 years old. She's very calm and friendly.

She is a beauty -- I love her little black "mask".  It gives her an air of mystery.
She certainly looks very content in this pic - I guess she is already happy with her new daddy.

Congrats!
Mike

Its now 10:22pm and she's laying on the bed next to me loudly purring. She is so calm and affectionate. I will have to put the iPod into the dock next to my bed her purring is so loud I think I'll need to listen to music to get to sleep. I think I'll listen to Joe Jacksons album "Night and Day". Good night!

Wow!  She is beautiful.  She also has that commanding air about her.  Looks like she reads the fine print.  ;)

What a cutie! Kinda Phantom of the Opera look. Don't opera singers warm up by singing mi mi mi mi?

Enjoy your purr box.

It's 4:30am and I've just awoken to the sound of my princess having her first dump in the kitty litter tray......yes I can hear her do her business in another room....the joys of apartment living! She's back on the bed again and we're going back to sleep (I hope)...Good night!

That's a sharp looking cat.  It looks rather content and happy.

She is absolutely gorgeous!  I am a huge cat person.  I recently moved into a new house, and it came with a kitty that lives under the deck outside.  So, we continue feeding him (we think it's a him as the kitty has never gone into heat).

I'm sure MiMi will keep you company for a long time to come.  Personally I have a kitty I rescued, and she's been such a wonderful companion.

Congrats, Growler!  Good move.

Very cute cat. I like her coloring. I had an orange cat named Sammy. He used to crawl to the top of the stairs and meow something that sounded like Hewo instead of Hello.
Someone always had to walk upstairs and bring him down.
A few times we saw him coming down the stairs on his own.
