PREZCOBIX+EPZICOM or MY OLD MEDS

Hello,
I want to switch my meds and not sure which way to go.
I was on Truvada + Tivicay and had bad memory issues, plus I seemed to cry easier, a little more emotional.  I got off the Truvada. Got on Triumeq. I stayed up late at night and the easy to cry mode remained. I am so tired of feeling an ounce of emotion and then tears come down in no time flat. Its embarrassing.  I was never this way.  Want to switch.  I had visit yesterday and I told my doc that I wanted to return to my old meds Combivir+Viracept.  She mentioned that it is now in generic form not the full form the way it used to be. My old meds gave me no side effects so I felt to go back and I only switched to the new stuff cause doc said my meds are old and I need to get modern, per say.  Instead of my old meds, she offered Prezcobix+Epzicom.

Is there anyone still on their old meds?
Is there anyone on Viracept or combivir?
Is there anyone who went from old to new and back to old?  Any issues?
Anyone on Prezcobix+Epzicom?

Please detail your experience. I need to know which way to switch asap.

Whatever meds work for you with the least side effects is the way to go. If it ain't broke don't try and fix it. Why did you change meds if they were keeping you ud?

Hi wardp,

I don't like the side effects of my current meds.  They all kept me undetectable.
I only switched from my old meds because my doc said they were ancient and I needed to come to the new age. I wish I never switched.

Hmm well if its a truly just a generic version of the drug than its pharmacological exactly the same, so same ingredients. Perhaps talk to the doctor again and ask why the generic version is not an option.
