Title: lipodystrophy & med change
Post by: frankva on September 22, 2012, 11:55:41 am
I have been taking a PI and NRTIs successfully for several years. I am starting to get some abdominal lipodystrophy. My doc has suggested possibly substituting isentress for the PI.I am wondering how isentress is tolerated and if the med change will reduce the lipo.

Isentress is very well tolerated.

It's  hard to say if it will help your problem.  It may simply stop adding to the problem you are experiencing.
