need ideas for TV show (NOT CSI) about HIV/AIDS
« on: February 15, 2007, 07:39:07 PM »
IN NEED OF INPUT -  What would you like to see on a weekly TV show covering topics related to HIV/AIDS?

"One Life" airs on Friday nights at 9:30 on KMTP (San Francisco Bay Area local channel 32).  The show has been in production for 3 years and is in desperate need of new visions.

It is really unfortunate that noone producing the show has a positive serum status. It would be really great to hear from folks who are in the poz community ...  what sort of programming would you benefit from the most?
For example, we're thinking of focusing more time in airing updates in medical research (made accessible to a general audience).  Would folks be into this?

If you live in the Bay Area and want to get involved PLEASE DO.  Or submit ideas, like how the show could support/enable activist work, or community forum topics-- whatever.

Got ideas for a fiction piece (sitcom, drama, mockumentary, street theatre, whatever) about living with HIV?

What do you think of the name "One Life"?

You can respond to this listing or email me directly at onelife@kmtp.tv
