what to do with unused medication?
« on: February 12, 2007, 10:16:58 AM »
i have 2 truvada and 8 kaletra pills left over because i just started sustiva.

it was recommened that i started sustiva on a weekend, so that's why they are left over.

any idea what to do with them?  can they be donated?  will the pharmacy take them back?
or.... garbage?

it would seem kind of waste if they went in the garbage..  there are so many people who can not afford medication.

I always bring leftover at the doctor's office.

They in return, make them available for someone in need.

There is a med salvage program on this forum . Send Lisa a PM and she will be glad to give her address. This program has been in effect since summer 05.
