Faces of the Fallen

Gone
         .....................
                                but never forgotten
And I wished for guidance, and I wished for peace
I could see the lightning; somewhere in the east
And I wished for affection, and I wished for calm
As I lay there - Nervous in the light of dawn

Dear God Rod my heart almost stopped..for two reasons

1..because of the sadness and loss of such a young man, who had so much to look forward to..and

2..because I thought I was looking at my son in his Black Watch uniform when he was serving in the Army in 1986, ..he looks just like my son when he was 19.

Woody..as sad as it made me feel, thank you for sharing with us.

Hugs to you both
