And every time I've held a rose
It seems I only felt the thorns
And so it goes, and so it goes
And so will you soon I suppose

Hey sweetie, that's a sad quote. Is everything OK?
Her finely-touched spirit had still its fine issues, though they were not widely visible. Her full nature, like that river of which Cyrus broke the strength, spent itself in channels which had no great name on the earth. But the effect of her being on those around her was incalculably diffusive: for the growing good of the world is partly dependent on unhistoric acts; and that things are not so ill with you and me as they might have been, is half owing to the number who lived faithfully a hidden life, and rest in unvisited tombs.

One of my favorite Billy Joel tunes.  Sad lyric, and often very true.  Not sure what prompted this quote, but hang in there, Strayboy.  I have another favorite Joel song...its called "Keeping the Faith."  Peace

Joseph... don't be angry with me please.

Everyone Joseph is at a bad place tonight emotionally.  He can really use some good words and thoughts.

Joseph I am sorry and if your angry I understand I broke your trust.

Joseph,

Sweety, I'm glad you are in your new place, I thought that was coming about at the end of the month. I just want you to know that if you need to talk, you can always PM me. When you are ready to share, we will be here for you, you know that. But honey, don't keep it bottled up inside, that will cause more harm than good. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Just put on my Billy Joel Greatest Hits album. Second whisky (from a big wine glass, what a freak I am). Joe, let us know what's going on. Love, Jay

Sorry, you guys.

I had a pity party last night.  :(  Unfortunately, I'm the only one who attended, which is just as well, cause someone left my cake out in the rain. :)

I feel like an asshole.  Please forgive me for last night.

I have always firmly believed each of us has the right, if not an obligation, to be an asshole from time to time.  It's all part of being human.

Hope you're in better spirits today.

LIFE is not a race to the grave with the intention of arriving safely
in a pretty and well-preserved body, but, rather to skid in broadside,
thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming--WOW! WHAT A
