We All Need to Help Eachother
« on: December 25, 2006, 02:13:05 AM »
These are the times that tries the soul and we all must be very supported to eachother.  Sadness, loneliness, and isolation is the disease and the cure is caring, understanding and listening.  Already it is Christmas and soon New Years.  All that I am asking is our members to be more supportive than usual and be more understanding because many of use, due to our status, are in need of love.  Lots and lots of love.  Those of use who are feeling sad, please contact a friend, a love one, a support group and talk it through.  It is never as bad as it seems and it can always get better.  Just know that we are here to help, listen and support you.  Take care and have a happy holiday.

   Red,

So true my friend so true..  I have been reflecting on my own situation allot recently and realise I do not have it so bad.   I definitely need to reach out to a few here by phone and check on them... let them know that they are cared about and loved.   Sometimes just letting someone know they are being thought of goes a long way... especially on days like today.    Thanks again and I hope you have a Happy Holiday my friend.

I despise the song Love is in the Air, you should too.

Yes, thanks for reading and/or replying.  We all must make a special effort to reach out to others that are feeling lonely or just to reach out to be friendly.  A little kindness goes along way.  Take care and Merry Christmas.

Hey Red_Dragon888...

A little kindness does go a long way. In fact, it can, may or will HELP someone who is in the need.

Again, I do agree 100% that we ALL need to make a special effort to reach out to others who are in need of support through their trials and tribulations.
