the autobiography ...
« on: December 18, 2006, 06:46:47 PM »
Okay,
i'm new here.
poz 26 years and still healthy.
everybody keeps asking me what the secret to my longevity is, and for the life of me i can't come up with one single thing.
maybe a from-the-heart belly laugh per day?
simple, i try to get about 20.

i'm working on my life story in a blog that i recently set up, and so far i've only covered the first 5 years.

i caught the "bug" when i was 18, the first time i had sex.

most of the people i know who will be visiting the blog already know, and i'm sure those that do that i don't won't have a problem with it .

here's the addy:

www.tupper62.multiply.com.

i am constantly adding music to the site, so please feel free to check it out.

much love,

eldon

Hello Eldon???

It is just a little different here because my name is also Eldon. Interesting site that you have there.

In my own way, I wish to extend to you a WARM WELCOME here at the AM forums. Here you will find the encouragement, communication, understanding, support, some cries, some laughter, and many of your questions relating to HIV/AIDS answered.

Truly, it is a diffcult health situation to accept. However, it is strongly recommeneded that you Deal rather than Dwell on what has occured. This will help tremendously to cope with what has occured with your health.

The Handshake Of Reassurance

We have a great group of Real People who will listen as well as answer you. We are here to Encourage, Learn, and Help one another as we all walk on our journey in this life.

With the consideration of implementing a Positive Mental Attitude, it will also assist you on your journey in this life as well as having a Positive Impact on your immune system and your overall health.

In fact, through your Positive Mental Attitude, it will help you push forward through ALL of the obstacles on your path that you are now walking on.

Talking and sharing our experiences with other people helps us see that we are not the only ones with problems. Feel free to come and vent with whatever is on your mind from time-to-time.

Often the act of writing and the ability to “SEE” your feelings leads to therapeutic insights and solutions..

In the interim, you may want to start taking a multi-vitamin, and some Omega 3, because it is all up to YOU where YOU want to be.

Exercise at least three times per week for a minimum of 30 minutes per day, as this will do you good to help keep that unecessary stress away.

I don't want to come across like I have all the answers, but I've never endured a single side effect from any of the drugs I've been on, I nipped a nasty cocaine habit in the bud, left a lover who was a pedophile, swam the English Channel (well okay, that's a bit of a stretch).

I think the reason I joined this elite club is to pass on good will and humor.
Lots of humor.

much love,

eldon

Hi Tupper,

Welcome from Belgium.
20 years of HIV. With some of us dinosaurs  we soon might celebrate a 1000 years of HIV.

I do fully agree with one idea : laughter helps the immune system.
I have had loads of stress the last 15 months.
What kept me going was slapstickmovies and giggles.
Watching my dog do funny things. See someones shopping bag tear and watch the oranges roll all over.

May sound a bit simple, but if your antennas are out for it... yo will find your daily laugh.

I hope you will feel at home and I do welcome positive attitude.

Hermie
