Excited
« on: December 03, 2006, 10:23:10 PM »
All-
Gosh I do not know what to expect, but I am down to my last week b4 I leave for the UK to see my man. We have been together now for a little over 2 yrs, well 2 yrs and a month, but we have only seen eachother once every 7 or 8 months. I really do not know what to expect or if I shud surprise him w/ anything, besides myself. There is just way TOO much expectations.
I was thinking about getting him a ring, a promise ring that I will always b w/ him, but then again that is a lot to drag around- emotionally. It is a little tough when Mike and I both had in our heads of me being over here for only a yr and then get married in the UK, which has not happened so far. I am not giving up hope. I still think of marriage often and all the planning involved. Think I need to take it a lot more slowly and just live day by day.
Deep down, I believe that he still loves me, but I do not know for sure since we have not seen eachother in like forever. I still feel the same for him, although I have some1 here that tries to do everything he can to make me say otherwise. No matter what happens, I still love my Mike. I just wish he wud get everything in order and finish his portion of my immigration paperwork. Just TOO much excitement. I am not for certain how he feels about public displays or affection. I am a very affectionate type of person and public displays or not, it does not concern me. I guess both Mike and I will find out at the airport.

Hey Robt!

Truly, it is an exciting feeling now that you are going to go and be with your sweetie. That's fine and it is quite normal. Enjoy yourself as there is a experience that is waiting to happen for you and him.

Take a deep breath and Friday will be here before you know it. Take plenty of pictures and enjoy yourself!

Happy Holidays!

Rob,

Aww, I'm so glad your time is finally coming to go visit your bf. I have heard LDRs can be hard on some. All those lil doubts you're having is prolly just pre-trip jitters. I'm sure everything will be fine with Mike, right? I have a hard time keeping up with names. Let us know how things go...Was just thinking, did you ever get that pic done for him?

Hey RobT.  Have a great time with your boyfriend.  And back here to the forums soon.  I seem to have been pulled out of the forums and into direct emails from someone at the opposite end of the U.S.  He and I can barely keep up with the piles and piles of emails which are going back and forth and, like you two, neither of us is able to make a physical move of our individual location anytime soon.  Best, Win

All-
I just have too much to do b4 my flight early tomorrow morning. I had an incredible appt. w/ my HIV doc. I have been undetectable for 3 months w/in a time span of 5 mnths. My CD4's r on the rise as well. I will include those results in my signiture sometime tonight.
I just completed my last final. I was shaking. Mb it was I was so stressed that I did not have anything to eat. Well, I am glad that that is done and school is out for the quater. My next quarter starts when I come back from the UK and I cannot register cuz of some stupid hold that is place on my acct. I have to call them tomorrow.
I pucked up my drycleaning earlier today. I have to dry clean my sweaters and they r hanging up in my closet. I am doing my laundry right now. Then, I will pack.
Plus, I got to clean. I cannot stand a messy place, but living w/ a messy sister and her bf, who both have no intentions of cleaning up in challenging. I usually end up cleaning my stuff and let the rest go to crap. I will eventually break down and clean cuz I just cannot stand the mess. I h8 w8ng for it to get cleaned up. It is usually me who cleans. If not, then it rarely gets done.
I have not eaten dinner yet and that is what I am making right now. I usually have pasta, so it is pretty simple.
Well, I bought the supplies Mike requested whiole I was at the grocery store earlier while I picked up my stuff. I had to get my meds refilled, which was a chore cuz according to my insurance it is held to the timetable when I originally had them filled. Refills r done on the 15th. I tried to explain that I will b out of the country. I called my order in on Tuesday and it is Thursday and they were not there. Well, they have been filled. i am taking a full months supply and then some while I am away on my trip.
I will just b extremely sleepy tomorrow, but I will sleep on my flight to Chicago, my 1st layover. I have too much to do b4 I catch my morning flight.
I need to run down and get copies made of my passport and tix. I have the originals, I just do not have any copies. Sometime either tonight or in the morning, I will begin cleaning. After dinner/breakfast I think I shud pack.
