Are You A Reason, A Season, Or A Lifetime?
« on: November 27, 2006, 05:47:24 AM »
Pay attention to what you read. After you read this, you will know the reason it was sent to you! People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. When you figure out which one it is, you will know what to do for each person.

When someone is in your life for a REASON. It is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally, or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend, and they are! They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part, or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered. And now it is time to move on.

Then people come into your life for a SEASON. Because your turn has come to share, grow, or learn. They bring you an experience of peace, or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it! It is real! But, only for a season.

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons: things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person, and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

Work like you don't need the money.
Love like you've never been hurt.
And dance like no one is watching.
Bide the Wiccan law ye must,
In perfect love and perfect trust
Eight words the Wiccan Rede fulfill
An' ye harm none, do what ye will.

What ye send forth comes back to thee,
so ever mind the Law of three,
follow this with mind and heart,
Merry ye meet, and merry ye part.

Hey Angel,

There are a number of reasons why people come into our lives. Two of the main reasons is to "teach" us and to "assist" us with our journey in this life.

In fact, you have illustrated the meaning clearly as stated above.

Eldon the more I read so many books on positive mind power and all inspirational books about spirituality the more I come to terms with the things I can change and accept them and then also the things I can't change to let it go aor as I say "build a bridge and get over it"

Angel,

EXACTLY. Accept the things that you cannot change, and change the things that you can.

That is why when you seek the truth in life and only want the truth then so much happens in your life and when you start questioning peoples motives and their actions you are the odd one out or so to speak the different one.

There is so much I still want to share with you about myself as to understand me.

Angel,

Indeed there is a reason behind every action. When you ask WHY, that is when a person gains an understanding for the reason for the action.

Instead of asking why we should ask now that this has happened what am I going to do about it? You can maybe use it as an advantage to enrich your life your spirit and mind.

Make the best of what you have and live to that means of life
