U.S. People - What are you thankful for this Thanksgiving?
« on: November 23, 2006, 04:05:31 PM »
I've seen some other threads on Thanksgiving.  I figured I'd ask, What are you thankful for this Thanksgiving?

I'm thankful that Louie is still around.  Though he got sick after trying a few bites of thanksgiving dinner, and I just finished hooking him up to his I.V.'s I'm still thankfull that he's still here with me.  Though at times I feel that I'm being selfish with wanting to keep him here.

I'm also thankful to have found such a great group of people here at POZ.  Reading posts on here has made me cry as well as laugh.  I'm also thankful that I'm in fairly good health after 18 1/2 years of finding out I was poz.  Thankful that I still have the whole list of meds to go through when it's time for me to go on them.

So, what are you thankful for.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Love and Light,
Rev. Michael

Well, we already had thanksgiving here in Canada but I'm still thankful! I'm thankful that before I tested poz I was a part of my stepmom's 6 year battle with cancer that taught me more about living with grace, strength and dignity than any self help book ever could. I'm thankful she didn't have to see what I went through when I found out and I'm thankful that she was in my life to show me what a true hero really is. 4 years ago today... time flies.

I'm also thankful for snow. Calgary looks like ass in the winter and we just got a solid dump to cover up all the dead brown stuff with a pretty white carpet.
