At the moment, I am thawing an oryx steak for the barbecue tonight. MMMMMM Good!

Gotta love those friends of mine who are hunters. At any given time during the year, I have some sort of game meat or game fowl awaiting my attention. Later in the year, it will be Canadian goose.

Not too keen on venison though, unless it is prepared properly. A bit too gamey for my taste. Buffalo is yummy, but expensive.

The oryx is excellent. It tastes a great deal like antelope and somewhat like elk, is very, very lean, and great for the outdoor grill.
