Hopefully this site can help me as my husband has been on here before. WE are no longer together, but, I am scared out of my goard as to the things he has told me prior to our seperating. I was told sometime ago that he had visited massage parlors in the local U.S. and abroad while he was overseas. I noticed about 6 months ago he was not himself. He used to be an avid runner and also a partier as well. I knew this about him before I married him so shame on me. Anyways, long story short...he began complaining about headaches, then widespread body pain and then complained his vision was changing. I didn't know what to do, because I had never seen him like this before. He was always up by 630 A.M. and stayed up late and then he would sleep everyday since his woes til about 10 A.M or later and sometimes barely making it up for work. He went to the doctors numerous times to let them know how he was feeling. They continously precribed him Anit-Depressants and Pain Killers. Finally he cracked on one of our trips to New York. He explained to me he had been in a few not so great bars and made out with a few women and then had visited a few massage parlors(Asian) and no that doesn't mean anything, but, you and I know that Asian Massgage parlors are nortorious for the Happy Endings, in Las Vegas and California. I wanted to forgive him, but, just entering the bliss of marriage at only a year and a half I told him to get bent! Now, since this whole debaucle, I have had a white coating on my tongue with moldy stuff in the back and pain in my legs, arms and neck. I haven't seen anyone since him and I am concerned he passed something along to me in this who fiasco. He also has complained when we were together that he had brown spots in his eyes on a daily basis. He has yet to get tested and I am going immediatley next week for my own piece of mind. He swears up and down he had no sexual intercourse with anyone. We had to get tested before we  were married,so, unless my test was false, which from reading your Welcome Thread and others threads, I would have to say something isn't right and that wasn't the case. I am holding it together very well, but, lately my thoughts have not been so welcoming to my ex. I know symptoms mean zero, but, why would I be feeling like this outta the blue???I am scared to death of HIV. I have lost a few close friends to this disease long before the epidemic was a common topic. And I know the advances in medicine to help. But, I feel so cheated from all of this and I am absolutley scared. Is there anything , and please don't bullshit me, that could cause my symptoms other than HIV. Trust me the 2 of us will have some very well-spoken words regardless of what may come from my test due to his un-faithfulness in our marriage. Sorry to waste your time, but, I have friends and co-workers that recommende dthis site for some good advice. THANKS- MAMA

Mama,

Funny how you and your husband write in the same exact style.

He never had a risk of hiv infection at the massage places or bars - neither kissing nor mutual masturbation are risks - and not only that, but he's tested hiv negative.

Whatever is going on with you has nothing to do with hiv. Please see your doctor if you continue to have physical problems.

Funny how you would think this is a totally mute subject and ridicule me by making the statment you just made. I guess this site is far fetched from what I had presumed and my husband did not give me any insight to what he had written on this site. HOW DARE you say something like that!!!!!!!! I just so happen to read his threads as I know the this is THE site he frequented regularly as I do have HIS computer and I have HIS information.YES, I am in computers and I know IP addresses can show up the same! I will take my questions elsewhere and I APOLOGIZE for wasting your time! I guess you didn't read the moderators thread as to helping folks and not SOUNDING LIKE SUCH AN ASS!!!! Thankyou ANN, you have totally proven how much you truely do want to help folks!

Ann:
Mama,

Who ridiculed you? I merely noted that you and your husband write in a very similar style.

I also answered your questions.

If you are in any doubt about your hiv status, the prudent thing would be to test and put your mind at rest. We recommend routine sexual health care check ups for anyone who is sexually active, so if you have never had one, perhaps it's time you did.
