I found this on the internet. For those of us wanting to test at home with instant results, this
seems to be the answer.

Please site the URL that says this test is for home use.

There is one HIV-1 Home Collection Test System that is currently approved by the FDA in which a sample for testing is collected in the privacy of your home and then sent to a laboratory for analysis. The "Home Access Express HIV-1 Test System" manufactured by Home Access Health Corporation is the only HIV-1 Home Collection Test System approved by FDA and legally sold in the United States. It is available in most drug stores and even in Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, etc.

I guess you didn't read the part about having to be preformed by Trained Personel.

The OraSure device uses a simple, two minute collection procedure which can be performed by any trained personnel. It completely eliminates the risk associated with handling needles and blood.

Don't think everything you read is true. The FDA has a listing of the Home Testing Kit and a warning about all others.
