New Stuff
« on: November 03, 2006, 09:42:55 AM »
Hello, just thought I'd let ya'll know what's going on with me.  Had a doctor's appointment Monday. New labs, CD4-350, VL undetectable.   Which is great to me. I had a biopsy done Thursday and a colposcopy scheduled for next month. i will get the biopsy results back in 2 weeks and am hoping the colposcopy will just show dysplasia instead of cervical cancer. I hope the biopsy comes back negative as well. Anyway , there is much more but it is not related to HIV.  My 17 YO is in jail awaiting triall for quite a few charges , his court date is the 28 and I am so worried about him. My 3 yo is thriving and talking a mile a minute, right now he's doing his absolutely most favorite thing in the world , working out in the yard with Grandpa. Oh, and I got promoted to Shift supervisor , which is cool. That's my new stuff for right now. Hope for the best for everyone.  Cristy

Christy, that is a mother's instinct to worry. You worrying about him is not going to help you or him. Nothing has ever been helped by worrying. Right now he might be in a little bind but it's not the end of his life. Now for the little one. There you have enough worries on your hands. Good luck to your son and you take care of that little one. Things have a way of working out.

Hi Christy

Your numbers are great honey!   Sorry about the trouble with your son, I know that is extremely disturbing to you.    Remember, you have to take care of YOU first.

love & hugs,

Alan

Hey Cristy,

You have good numbers with your labs. As far as the biopsy is concerned, just as you do, I am sending you my BEST wishes that the tests turn out to be fine.

As a mother, you have every right to have a genuine concern for your son. However, just as Rod has mentioned; "don't worry yourself". There is only so much that you can DO. As for your three year old, he is the joy and inspiration in your life and it sounds like he is having a good time with his Grandpa.

I wanted to also wish you a big congratulations on your promotion as Shift Supervisor!!!

All things will work itself out for you and each and every one of us in due time.

Make the BEST out of each and every Day!

Hey Christy,
Your numbers look good to me. How's the Atripla doing?

Sorry about the boy child. The closest I come to having children is my clients, some of whom call me Tio Pelon (uncle baldy).

Hang in there youngun.

Thanks for the reply's .I do have quite a bit to be happy about and maybe this will give the17YO incentive to act right, as much as I love him I can't save him, only he can do that. I did  put some money in his canteen so he can get some toiletries and candy. Anyway thanks again,  Cristy

  Cristy,

I am sorry to hear about the problems your son has brought on himself.  As a parent when they hurt we hurt, no way around it.  My mother's secret was lots of red hair coloring to cover up the grays.

Hopefully the results from the tests will be favorable.   You don't need any other distractions in your life to take time from your precious three year old.

Hang in there Cristy....No doubt your son's legal problems weigh heavy upon you and let us hope things work out for the best
though clearly that's hard to imagine at this point.  Right now your grand son needs you more than ever so focus your attention
on him.  Congradulations on the promotion...although it must be difficult to enjoy your success at this time.
I know it sounds cliche' but sometimes things work out for the best.... Good luck and God bless.

Cristy,

The Mighty Matty the Damned is sorta limited in what he can do and say at the moment. Nevertheless, he has read this thread with some concern and wants you to know that he thinks of you often.
