3rd month labs results
« on: April 23, 2014, 10:59:41 AM »
Hey everyone!!

Well, yesterday I got my labs results after 4 months on treatment.

%21 CD4 380 VL UD

I am officially undetectable, that makes me happy, the thing is that since my dx last october my cd4 seems to be growing very slow!! is it normal??? on my first labs my cd4 was 230 now it's 380!! Dr. said she was expecting a 400ish range by now!!!

Is there any tip to get the cd4 growing faster??

Thanks!!

B.

Not sure why your doctor would predict what your CD4's would be as there's such a wide range of variables.

You had almost a 60% increase in 3 months, definitely nothing to be upset about, actually quite good.  It took years for me to achieve the same numbers that you achieved in mere months.  And remember, it's not the quantity but the quality of the work they do.

Excellent, wonderful news!

As for the CD4+ may I suggest you be patient. I wasn't. Everyone is different. But it took a year of UD before my CD4+ began to rebound. I expected it to start sooner. 380 and above 20% is solid . . . and more and more good news as time goes by!
