Blu3,

1. The average time to seroconversion is 22 days and you can test 6 weeks after the last possible incident and then at 3 months to confirm the results.

2.  You have reliably tested negative for HIV.

3.  You do not have to test again as you are HIV negative.

4.  Hand jobs do not transmit HIV, as HIV is a very fragile virus and when exposed to the air, changes occur within the HIV and render it unable to infect.

5.  You are HIV negative and you do not need to test further.  If you were HIV positive, you would have tested positive, but you have reliable tested negative for HIV.

The risk factors for HIV are ...

Sharing IV drug needles immediately after use.
Unprotected anal and vaginal sex.
Mother to child during or shortly after birth.
Very specific healthcare situations.

Use condoms for vaginal and anal sex consistently and correctly and you will avoid HIV infection, it is that simple.

In an adult, a positive HIV antibody test result means that the person is infected, a person with a negative or inconclusive result may be in the “window for 4 to 6 weeks but occasionally up to 3 months after HIV exposure. Persons at high risk who initially test negative should be retested 3 months after exposure to confirm results

is there anyone who experienced seroconversion 6 months?

should I test anti hiv again or test PCA DNA HIV ?
I really confused , because in my country ,conselor and some doctor still asume window period /seroconvertion more about 6 month and more.

whether the friends here ever seroconverted more than 3 or 6 months?

Blu,

You can stop testing because the only risks you had were back in 2012. You are reliably and conclusively hiv negative by anyone's standards.

You are conclusively hiv negative.

YOU DO NOT HAVE HIV AND YOU DO NOT NEED FURTHER TESTING AT THIS TIME.

Blu,

I've just removed a post you left in a forum where you are NOT permitted to post. If you read the Welcome Thread before posting like you're supposed to, you will have read the following posting guideline:

Quote

With the exception of the “Am I Infected?” and “Off Topic” Forums, the AIDSmeds.com Forums are intended for people who have been diagnosed with HIV (or their loved ones/caregivers).  If you are questioning or unaware of your HIV status, please refrain from posting messages or questions in the Forums intended for HIV-positive people.

Please consider yourself warned!

There is no reason for you to be asking about the price of hiv meds in Asia - YOU DO NOT HAVE HIV!!!!

Post outside of your own thread again and you will be banned. Permanently. Subscription or no subscription.

Stop pursuing a problem you don't have. You're HIV negative. Cut out the unwarranted drama and get on with your life. If you continue to return here with more doubts and questions when we know HIV is not a problem, you are going to find yourself getting a 28 day time out from the site.

Consider yourself warned. Get on with your life. No testing is necessary.
