Open wound that wont close almost a year
« on: September 18, 2013, 01:29:50 pm »
I had a enlarged nymphnode in the neck shoulder area. Dr performed a core biopsy on the area in Nov 2012. The wound is literally open, like a shotgun hole. And the dr have no explantation. Has anyone else suffered from open wound that wont heal

Hello,...

What do you mean by open? Is the area where this was done, not healing at all ?  Is there still bleeding taking place, or any kind of oozing?

Or, has the wound healed, and you have a hole type indentation in that area ?

Hi Raja,
Is this wound still a problem? If it is, you should get to a clinic of a medical school, where a large staff of doctors from different specialties would look at your case. Hyperbaric oxygen chambers, (higher pressure than sea level) are often used to increase oxygenated blood flow to wounds or burns to increase healing.

Folks, the OP hasn't been back since the day he posted this thread - back in September of last year.

Just an FYI. ;)
