good! :)

can I ask you what pills are you taking?
and in what phase of your infection were you before starting? (I mean if you know what was the time of the exposition to the virus for the first time)
and why have you-your doctor decided to start with high cd4? (I really agree with this, I believe earlier you start, better is the outcome:)

good luck and go on with this positive attitude! :)

Sure...
been diagnosed on 4th of november.
when I tracked the acute phase, seems like been infected 5th of september, I remember the night and the guy!.(you can read the whole story clicking my nickname). I started to read on the internet while waiting the test results and there were two aproaches to the treatment to wait for the lower cd4 or to start immidiately.
I realized that lower cd means more health problems and starting early is the newest approach. When I got the first test results my doc told me that it was going to be my own decition to start or not.She told me the pozitive and negative sides of the each approaches. Early treatment was good for the surpressing the virus but in long term kidney and liver malfunctions "may" appear! I am 50 years old and I said I should use the meds at the end of my life, if such malfunctions would "may" appear in "long term",  how many years could be my "long term" ... and decided to get on the meds.Been priscripted on Truvada & Stocrin. Had a very few side effects (dizzyness and I learned how to control it by not having  high fat foods before 2 hours rolling down the pills which was very easy.)

thanks for your good wishes

I think you did the right choice:)
I'm 40 almost, and I did the same: infected end of october; i started treatment after 2 and a half months, and I relly believe in early therapy, especially if you're not 20 anymore!

I did some research too, and I'm really into it.

good luck again and happy life:)
