Welcome to the forum . Im not aware of any contradictions with HIV meds and hemp oil .

I urge you to not stop your HIV meds . HIV meds are the only effective treatment for HIV and to not take them is certain death for us that need them .

Well, the research states that someone must take hemp oil without HIV meds. according to the guy in Youtube. I dunno why he state that. I bet he is not a medical professional anyways. Thanks anyways.

Jay, most people who tell hiv positive people to stop their hiv meds and take some type of unproven "cure" rather than hiv meds fall somewhere under the broad heading of "aids denialist". Not all of them claim hiv/aids doesn't exist, some of them just like to say things like "there are natural cures available that big pharma doesn't want you to know about", which is utter rubbish. These people are often financially invested in the the "cure" they try to push, some are just deluded, and some are both financially invested and deluded.

One person who had been taking hemp oil for about eight months felt so much better that he decided to stop taking his hiv meds. He posted a video on the internet talking about how great this stuff was and how optimistic he was about how it was going to fix his little aids wagon. (heh, my words but it's difficult to not let my incredulity bleed into what I'm writing about here.)

Here's the important bit of what he had to say on another video posted only a month and a half after stopping his meds:

"I have my test results back. About 2 weeks ago I thought I might have the Flu. So I took a Flu test and it was negative so we thought we had better run a T-Cell test. A few days later I had a viral load done. when I stopped taking my HIV meds my T-Cells were 810 and after over a month and a half off my meds they when down to 480. My Viral Load was 0 and after and month and a half it when up to 216,000 copies.

If I have the virus present in my blood then we know the oil didn't cure my aids. But I'm Still very happy with the results. It has given me back my life and for that I am very grateful. Even if I have to take the meds the oil makes It much easier to deal with the side affects. So in my opinion although it hasn't cured me the results were still very positive."

So don't stop your meds, please. This oil may help a person feel better, but it has NO action against the virus.

Just in case you've been also reading/watching propaganda out there on the internet published by proper aids denialists (this guy I quoted above isn't a denialist, he'd was deluded and mislead by the claims of others and put himself in real danger by stopping his meds), I suggest you do some reading on the following site: http://www.aidstruth.org/

Welcome to the forum, by the way. Hope to hear more from you - and I hope you don't stop your meds over fantastical claims about snake hemp oil or any other non-approved hiv med, unless you're doing so in the context of an official, medical community approved, scientific study or trail, in conjunction with your doctor. It just isn't worth it.

HIV is certainly character-building. It's made me see all of the shallow things we cling to, like ego and vanity. Of course, I'd rather have a few more T-cells and a little less character. Randy Shilts

Thank you. I will prove that to my bf. Thanks a lot! By the way I'm deaf. I am having difficulty proving to my bf. He is kind of HIVophobic. Long story. So thank you for your reponses.
