Hi guys,
I'm Jay, 22 years old, Asian American.
I have been sexually active ever since my ex-bf broke up with me, which is 2 years ago. I have had about 35-40 sexual partners. I only have safe sex. BUT, there were a few times where guys would slip up and 'feel me up' for a minute or two (bareback).

I have also had sex in the heat of the moment wihtout a condom once, in 2012. But I got tested negative in January of 2013, which was the last time I ever got tested.
I would always use condom as I have a fear of getting HIV. However one time, a partner's condom broke and he came in me. He also freaked out, asking me if I had antyhing. I was relieved by his reaction but ofcourse not enough to convince me that he's clean. He told me he gets regularly tested and onyl have safe sex.

Anyways, I'm 90% safe all the time. The 10% were slip ups.

What are the odds of me getting HIV?
I've been sick/had cold a few times since I last tested negative, I always think I have HIV when I'm sick.

I am a bottom btw.
And it's weird how I've been trying to get tested 3 times since May of 2013, but for some reason the testing center is always closed when they're supposed to be open. Is that a sign?? omg.. Liek today the testing center is closed, and it took me alot of courage to actually get tested.. the only time i have the courage to do so, something happens to prevent me from getting it.

The only way to know your status is to test at 6 weeks past unprotected anal or vaginal sex or any possible exposure and again at 3 months to confirm the results .

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together.

To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI.Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Have a look through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence .

Anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv. Some of the other STIs can be present with no obvious symptoms, so the only way to know for sure is to test.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

We do not give odds on HIV transmission because there are to many unknown variables to be any where near accurate on an individual basis .

You are going to be OK one way or the other . Odds ... if I had to guess I would say the overwhelming odds are that you will test negative ... that probably what Vegas would say .

I have lived with HIV for over 30 years and have a good life ... I bet you will never have to live a day with it so chin up .
