some of the chandeliers are mine! Back when meech was hoarding and could hardly move around in his domicile, I'm sure I remember him bequeathing me a few chandeliers when I tried to talk him down from his hoarding-ledge  ;) ;D :-*

I will truly miss you meech :'(

Leaving butter on the counter is one thing, but Serrano ham belongs in the fridge. That's where mine is, ready for breakfast, after which it will reside for a while in my stomach.

Well I've learned my lesson! Whether its a "live and learn" situation remains to be seen.
I grew up in a home (and culture - US?) where everything was kept in the fridge.  But here in Switzerland they sell many dried meats and certain sausages unrefrigerated. Also eggs.  I'm pretty certain serrano is among the room temperature ones I must have had a bad buy.  >:(

For the American vultures there is also a storage in the US I have not dehoarded yet - its filled with milk glass from several decades, and 60's and 70s dinnerware, hostessing items, etc.   There are some fake (and 1 or 2 possibly real!) tubular venini chandeliers, Leatherman.   All the shit that never made it to Europe cause its too expensive to ship after I got much poorer being single.  Perhaps might deal with it on next winter's trip....  All that milk glass,  :-[
If the worms don't do me in imminently that is.

In honour of the source of my deadly parasite, burial and memorial service will be held in the Palmeral of Elche, largest palm orchard in Europe:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palmeral_of_Elchev

There will be a live performance of Manuel de Falla's El amour brujo followed by drinks, dinner and a screening of von Sternberg's/Dietrich's Devil is a Woman.

Helicopters will depart at midnight, destination Ibiza. My body wrapped in vintage Swiss linen sheets will be dumped into the sea en route.  Party favors will include Truvada and freezer burned hash brownies.

This deserves a re run one off the best ever Funeral Plans I have heard and there have been many. Vintage Swiss Linen you can bet that stays in the helicopter , Oh dear he slid out , never mind.

Ugh, this takes me back. I grew up on a farm and my grandmother used to 'worm' us with the same quarterly regimen as her house cat. Of course, she would also pet her Galaxy 500 and had pictures of Spriro Agnew in the most disturbing places, so she was probably crazy.

Still......perhaps what you need is a good worming! They probably don't have Farm & Fleet where you're at but I can send you some contraband elixir. If I recall correctly, cut the taste with grape cool-aid and for the next 48 hours don't trust anything that pretends it may be just 'gas'. I lost a lot of Garanimals back then.

I don't know nothing about no Granny potions but aren't there some Santeria candles I can light or something.  My ass is itching I think the worms are multiplying and I'm gonna turn into a vampire - but the phallic serpentine fanged sucking trunk is gonna come out my butthole not my mouth/throathole like on the Strain.

Speaking of Romanians, this is Carol II when he was prince:
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/87/Carol_II_WWI.jpg

Tsar Nicolas II hoped to marry one his daughters to Carol and took the family on holiday to Black Sea to set it in motion.  The 4 princesses were extremely sheltered, immature and unsophisticated girls who couldn't mix with the aristocrats and royalty of Europe easily, and didn't want to. They tanned on the way to the families' meeting, and the Romanian swells were horrified by the peasanty sun-burnt girls.  The princesses were kind of clever, that way.

Carol was a notorious playboy prince and a philandering king.

The princesses never did get married. They finally escaped Alexander Palace by working in a hospital during the war. Reportedly they had cruses on swarthy cossack types, commoners, low officers, even it was rumoured, muslims!

Rasputin was rumoured to have bedded the two older princesses.

(Just watched a documentary....)

Gee - that Carol II looks like FUN!

Nah.....usually the round worms come out in a big ball slathered in mucus still writhing and angry. It's the little pin worms that poke their head out of your nether-regions and twirl around like Jeff in a fringed poncho.

Oh, it's funny you should mention cool-aid. MSNBC is showing a recap of Jonestown.

Everything was done with Grape Kool-aid except Castor Oil. Nothing could shoulder that crap other than Blackberry Brandy. I was the youngest Betty Ford graduate in our county and went through most of kindergarten drunk.

Frankly a snore but its good background when cooking or cleaning.  Most of the episodes end with a dud.
