Pls help me out
« on: November 20, 2013, 01:09:53 PM »
Hi all,

am new to this forum. read a lot befor posting this.
coming to the topic, please clear my doubts

I had sex with exactly 5 partners at different times. My last sex was in th month of MAY 2013. All 5 are prostitutes. I used 2 condoms at a time with all of them.

All 5 i had 1-2 sessions. There was no condom slip nor breakage. I never ejaculated inside vagina. i used to take it out and shag it outside with condom on. i made sure that every time i finished, i used to press at the tip of the condom to see if is safe or broken. there are no cases of breakage or slippage. I used to wash my hands before removing and after removing.

i had dry kiss, no deep french. had once or twice blowjob with condom on. I had a blow job with out a condom with a lady ofcouse who is not a prostitute. what is the chance of getting affected?

last month i had few problems. b4 that, i'm working as a sales person. I travel a lot and get exposed to sun heat. last month i suddenly had few problems.

I used to feel like i lost energy all of a sudden. I knew i was driving bike but was in some other state while driving. i was not able to concentrate as well was not able to know how i manged to drive.

pain near chest region. burning sensation or kind of pricking or pain as if someone pokes you with a needle was felt.

then i remembered my sex with prostitutes and started feeling tension due to which i had undergone lot of stress. consulted doctor and informed him that i had gastric problem(not very sure, but  beleive i have bcoz of symptoms). doctor said i had less proteins and advised me proteinx. i recovered and  after a month, now i feeling little pain and burning sensation on my toungue, specially on the side. mt toungue is constantly being rubbed with my teeth.

please suggest me. i'm not knowing what to do.

You did not have a risk . Use only one condom at a time , its a misuse of condoms to use more than one at a time and doing so can lead to condom failure , and before your ask , if the condoms had failed you would have known it , so no risk .

ALTHOUGH YOU DO NOT NEED HIV TESTING AT THIS TIME for this incident , anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv. Some of the other STIs can be present with no obvious symptoms, so the only way to know for sure is to test.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

Thanks for the reply... few more questions to you

suppose if i had sex with a hiv +ve, unknowingly.. in what time span will i know that i am affected?

say if i had sex with a hiv +ve today, in how many days will the symptoms start and till how many day they exist.

and in the first post, i forgot to mention that, after 6 months of my last sex, i.e, from couple of days, i'm getting mouth ulcers.. please read the first post again and let me know my risk..

a month back i suffered from severe gastric problem which had been for quite sometime. i am having gastric problem from almost 2 years but it was not as severe as it was in last month.... am i at a risk

The average time to seroconversion is 22 days. Most who are infected will test positive by 6 weeks. For various reasons a small number will take longer and that is why we follow the CDC recommendation to test at 3 months for a conclusive negative result.

As long as you use condoms correctly and consistently ( one at a time ) you will avoid HIV no matter if your partner is HIV positive or not . Many people are in relationships where one is poz and the other negative and have rich sex life because they practice safe sex without fear of infecting their partner .
