Welcome to the "Am I Infected?" POZ forum.

New members -- those who have posted three or fewer messages -- are permitted to post questions and responses, free of charge (make them count!). Ongoing participation in the "Am I Infected?" forum -- posting more than three questions or responses -- requires a paid subscription.

A seven-day subscription is $9.99, a 30-day subscription is $14.99 and a 90-day subscription is $24.99.

Anyone who needs to post more than three messages in the "Am I Infected?" forum -- including past, present and future POZ Forums members -- will need to subscribe, with secure payments made via PayPal.

Any Oraquick professionals please help

Hello I've been reading posts on this page.. And I must you all are amazing and well educated on  HIV and the testing especially oraquick. okay here it go... I'm a 20yr old female and little back story i was living in the streets and did some unsafe sex over a year ago to ... now I'm bout to be 21 i had been checked out for other stds and was clear..Thank God! but was afraid to take HIV test.. well two days ago I did... I went and brought oraquick. heres what happen first test i only swiped my left side top and bottom left to right... it said negative Afraid it wasn't enought... i brought another one and swipe left to right top and bottom.. but again i dont thing i reached back towards my back toofts. I called and even when on the websites and it said if a line shows up at the c line it work and can trust my results... they both were negative.. do I need to buy another test or just paranoid because of my previous habits

You can rely that the test was negative and you do not have HIV . Use condoms for vaginal and anal sex and you will avoid HIV .

Please take care of yourself and get hooked with some social services so you have a safety net and some positive support . Best of luck .

hello thank you so much for answering my post i feel alot better now that i got that off my chest and mind. and yes of course i have learned my lessons. CONDOMS every time no matter what.

You will be OK as long as you do the condom thing and have regular checkups . Save your last 2 free post in case you ever need to ask questions again in the future .  ;) .
