very scared. I need help and advice please..
« on: September 27, 2013, 05:20:23 PM »
I had three exposure with three different sex workers. All my exposures were condom protected  . The last sex worker stayed with me for two days.  Each night we were having protected vaginal sex and unprotected oral.  One night I had protected sex with her and the condom covered only 2/3 rd of my penis. After 5 minutes I noticed some blood on the condom from outside and some blood was on the skin of my penis that was not covered by the condom  then I stopped but the girl suddenly took the condom off and started unprotected oral sex till I ejaculate outside her mouth.
Is there any risk of all these exposures whether high or low?
Do I need a test?
Am so afraid because I will get married next week.
Thank you.

The sex you had was protected , so was the incident with the condom 2/3 of your penis . The important part was your glans was covered . Getting blood on your skin in the situation you described was not a risk . Getting a blow job is not a risk nor were your other concerns . I did read all of your concerns and there was not a risk for HIV in any of them .

ALTHOUGH YOU DO NOT NEED HIV TESTING AT THIS TIME for this incident , anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv. Some of the other STIs can be present with no obvious symptoms, so the only way to know for sure is to test.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

Today I have been told that one of my relatives was raped. I spoke with her this afternoon . She was so despaired and anxious. She told me that this happened a month ago but she did not report or tell the authorities because of stigma. I asked her about the incidence and she told me that she did not know the rapist but she assured that  he succeeded to do unprotected anal to her for about five minutes without ejaculation. she also told me that she  developed some symptoms like flu and diahara. Beside being despaired,  she is so concerned about HIV.
Can you please address her what are her chances to acquire HIV?
Thank you in advanced.

Please do not post outside of this one thread no matter how long its been or the subject matter . You can visit your profile and select show own post and it will take you here .

I'm sorry to hear your relative was assaulted . Please let her know the best course of action is to be screened for HIV and all other STDs . She can test 6 weeks past the exposure and again at 3 months to confirm the results . Best of luck .
