I am worried.... Pls help
« on: August 12, 2013, 10:21:15 AM »
I am about 40 year old, have been faithfull to my wife all along in my life.

I am presently in Hong Kong. On 10th August, 13 I went to  night bar .Following happened with strippers over there.

1.1st stripper performed lap dance and sucked my right nipple for 2-3 minutes.

2.2nd stripper performed lap dance, later on we went to a hotel near by. I was undressed and she gave me nude massage with oil. After some time, she removed her cloths and gave me a hand job with oil.I ejaculated in 2 minutes. Then we both wipped off my  pennies with tissue paper.

To best of my knowledge I remember girls were not having any cuts on hands. I was also not having any cut except small pimples which  anyways were not touched in process.

I am terribly worried if I am at a risk of contacting HIV. I called up local govt counselling agency. They informed me that there is no risk as there was no penetration. However I insisted for test and was told that I should take test in 2rd week of Nov13.

I need your help on my risk status and also if I can take up any test before Nov 13 .

Pls help .....I will not repeat such mistake in future

You had zero risk for HIV in the situation you describe . The risk factors for HIV are as follows .

Sharing IV drug needles immediately after use.
Unprotected anal and vaginal sex.
Mother to child during or shortly after birth
Very specific healthcare situations.

No one EVER has been infected in the manner you are concerned about and you can stop worrying because you will not be the first .

ALTHOUGH YOU DO NOT NEED HIV TESTING AT THIS TIME FOR THIS INCIDENT , anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv. Some of the other STIs can be present with no obvious symptoms, so the only way to know for sure is to test.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

You can test at 6 weeks and again at 3 months to confirm the results .

You are welcome . You did not and could not have contracted HIV in the situation you are concerned with . If this is your only concern your test will be negative . That being said , testing is a good thing for all sexually active adults so go for it ! .

Best of luck .
