Made An Old Rainbow Smile...
« on: July 06, 2013, 04:30:53 PM »
I am in Washington, DC and so far today has been pleasant with a few giggles and smiles.

Here are few things that made me smile (rather tightly in one instance):

>Drove by a shop with a sign that read: "Nail, Pie and Spa". I asked my goddaughter if that was some sort of trick sign? She grinned at me and said I should try it out. I haven't yet.

>Saw a brightly colored van at the gas pump with side panels that read: "Your Pixies and Fairies.com". The guy pumping gas was all big and rough looking. I minded by own business.

>Went to a friend's house and during conversation, his granddaughter blurted out "I'm 4 1/2!" and held up 4 fingers on one hand and a bent finger on the other.  She asked me how old I am.  I said "I'm 59 3/4!"  She asked "How many fingers is 59 and 3/4?" My cheeky friend said "A football stadium full."  That cow!
