African dream
« on: October 17, 2006, 05:03:10 PM »
I travelled extensively to East Africa during the 90s, and still recall the unparalleled white nights at The Treetop and The Ark hotels in Kenya.  And in Tanzania, I felt just like home for the wonderful jacaranda trees all over the place.  In Brazil, jacaranda trees are omnipresent in certain regions!
Now, this camera will give you an idea of such hotels! You'd better check it out during daytime in Africa, though!

The word comes from the Greek words φως phos ("light"), and γραφίς graphis ("stylus", "paintbrush") or γραφή graphê, together meaning "drawing with light" or "representation by means of lines".

Hi Val

I spent some of my younger days in East Africa (Mombasa) in the 60's, and although I have travelled to many places since East Africa still holds the magic I felt when I was there, my brother and I spent a lot of time at Nyali beach with it's beautiful white sands, and swimming in waters so clear you could see to the very bottom, I remember staying at a resort called "Silver Sands", going on safari and for the first time seeing wild animals that actually roamed free, thank you for bringing back some wonderful memories for me.

Hugs
