Hi Norbi , you can put this behind you and stop worrying , you did NOT have a risk for HIV and you can count the rapid test you took as accurate .

It would NOT matter if the person who did the test was HIV positive and NOT on treatment because it wasn't a risk .

As long as you are using condoms for vaginal and anal sex you will avoid HIV , its that simple .

If you are feeling sick its not because of HIV , so go see your doctor abd find out whats making you sick .

You absolutely do not have to worry about HIV in the situation you described , you did not have a risk , not even a tiny one ... zero risk .

You do not have to worry about passing on a virus you do not have .

HIV is a fragile virus and can not survive on cuts and nicks on your hands or body . HIV is rendered unable to infect as soon as its exposed to oxygen .

It simply was zero risk .

Norbi,

You were not at risk for hiv infection when you had an hiv test done and it does not matter whether or not the nurse was wearing gloves.

If you both had deep wounds (think of a serious car accident) and you rubbed your gaping, bleeding wounds together, then you might have a risk. Wounds received in a serious car accident do not in any way compare to a rapid hiv test needle stick.

Hiv is transmitted in a very few, very specific ways:

Unprotected anal or vaginal intercourse,

Mother-to-child during pregnancy, birth or breastfeeding

Sharing drug injecting equipment. This involves injecting hiv positive blood directly and immediately into a vein - NOTHING like taking an hiv test.

You did NOT have a risk for hiv infection.

If you and/or your wife feel unwell, see a doctor. It has NOTHING to do with hiv.

You do NOT have hiv.

You are conclusively hiv negative.
