aztecan:
Hey, it's March isn't it!

That means I have now been on meds for 12 years and am heading for lucky 13.

March 1996: Saquinavir, AZT and Epivir - 17 pills a day and massive projectile diarrhea.

March 2013: Isentress, Truvada - 3 pills a day and no gastrointestinal side effects at all.

I feel MAHVELOUS!

HUGS,

Mark

congrats Mark!

Our stories are very similar.
I started a bit earlier with the crapola AZT but got on the "good" meds in 1996 as well.
Switched a couple of weeks ago to the same meds you take.
(changed from Atripla)
My head is much clearer in the AM with the only side effect being insomnia.
(hope THAT goes bye-bye)
Happy to hear you are feeling Mahvelous!!! :)

J.R.E.:

Congratulations Mark !  BUT,!!,  If you started meds in 1996, wouldn't you have been on meds going on 17 years ?

Glad to hear that things are better for you, on the newer meds. nice that the gastro problems ceased.  I never had issues with that.

I will be on meds just 10 years this coming October.

Peace----Ray
