Is Your State Happy or Sad?? Check here...

http://www.cnn.com/2013/02/19/tech/social-media/twitter-happiness/index.html?hpt=hp_c3

These are very scientific results based on Tweets.

Red= Happy!, Blue = sad :(

Hawaii comes in as the happiest state. No surprise there, lots of sun and marijuana.

Louisiana comes in as saddest. Again, no surprise there right? Some of the tweets out of LA. are "Kill me now". Also, Grumpy Cat is from Louisiana.

But interesting that Maine is one of the happiest states. Really? I think Maine's results are skewed because all 600 people up there are on Meth and anti-depressants.

Pennsylvania is pretty sad. Definitely not a surprise, probably all the rusted steel mills rotting in the dingy skies.

Now Texas is interesting, the only reason it is blue is because of Beaumont which was dubbed saddest City in the Us. This is true if you've ever been to Beaumont you know what I'm talking about. The air is yellow and wreaks of sulphur from all the Oil wells. It's pretty much the hemorrhoid of Texas. and definitely not representative of Texas as a whole.

So that explains why it's the same color as Texas?
