oral with a canker??
« on: February 19, 2013, 09:02:32 PM »
hey guys

just wanted to say thanks in advance for any help and for all the other great information on this site.

anyways, i hooked up with a guy the other night, first time ive ever done anything like this, but he blew me, and i tried sucking him.   i only gave oral for about 5 seconds, but i do have a small canker in my mouth prior to that, and sometimes my gums bleed.  so there would be some open sores in my mouth i guess. no cum, and i spit immediately and rinsed my mouth out about 10 minutes later. anyways im not sure of his status or what it was just a random thing but im really freaking myself out thinking and over thinking everything.

should i be concerned?

I have read your question carefully and can tell you that you did NOT have a risk for HIV and do not need to test over this incident .

Please put your mind at ease over this no risk encounter .

really aprpeciate it. is there anything i should be worried about?  how common is it to catch any std from what happened?

You are welcome ! . There is nothing for you to be concerned about and you are correct about the enzymes in saliva rendering HIV unable to infect , so canker sore or no canker sore it wasn't a risk . There has never been a reported case of HIV transmission in the situation you described so you can rest easy that you are not going to be the first , it simply wasn't a risk to begin with .
