Hi,
I did a protected vaginal and unprotected oral sex on a sex worker (iam a man).3 days after that i started feeling tired, dizzy, fatigued, also muscle aches. I did elisa test after 7 weeks and it came non reactive. After 11 weeks i got sore throat, fever, nasal block which lasted for 4 days. I again did elisa test 4 days after this and it came non reactive. after 12 weeks muscles started aching and paining in shoulders and legs. It used to come and go whenever i do some small work. At 15 weeks i again did elisa test which again came out non reactive. Iam really worried right now. should i be concerned about Contracting HIV. The only thing that is worrying right now is the muscle aches and pains.

The sexual encounter you described isn't a risk for HIV and the negative HIV test you had at 15 weeks is proof enough that you are HIV negative .

There have been at least three separate serodiscordant couples studies that I know of where one person is HIV positive, the other negative. These couples were tracked for three. five and ten years. The couples used condoms for penetrative vaginal and anal sex, but NO BARRIER at all for oral sex. Any kind of oral sex.

So in conclusion , the oral sex you had wasn't a risk and there is no need for you to test again over this incident .
