I have a question, but I guess it's trivial. Tenofovir is a nucleoTide reverse transcriptase inhibitor, but a lot of articles lump it with the nucleoSide RTIs. Is the difference something esoteric or can it be explained to non-biologist? And as for journalists, is it laziness or thrift that gets the two categories lumped into one? I'm OK with either. Just curious.
