Worried and Inquisitive
« on: December 22, 2012, 06:04:34 PM »
Hi,

Im a young 18 year old guy that had his first Man to Man experience and am now worried.
I met up with a couple from online, that said they were "clean". I went over to their place and before we did it, i asked again and they said they again said they were "clean". But you can't really know if they're totally honest or not, so presume their HIV +.
I gave unprotected Oral sex ( so i sucked) one of the guys -he didn't ejaculate in my mouth, but there was probably some pre-cum. i had canker sores the week before but  i'd checked them out and they seemed to have healed. I don't generally have bleeding gums, but sometimes when I brush my teeth hard I get a bit of blood? I'm just worried that some "invisible" cuts in my mouth could have potentially transeffered the virus from his precum or something. Also I've had blowjobs from girls before and MAYBE I might have an invisible STD - i;ve never experinced any symptoms, so would that increase my risk?
I only gave head for 5mins or so, and then I had PROTECTED anal sex with the other guy where I topped. he put the condom on me and applied alot of lube and it only lasted for 3 -4 mins or so. When he got off my penis, I wasn't able to see the condom properly( since i wasnt wearing my glasses) but it seemed in tact. Also since this was the first time I had sex, Is it obvious when A condom breaks and will I notice it?
Im worried that there may have been some small holes in the condom which I may have not noticed or felt and maybe his ass mucous got in and infected me?
I dont know Im just really paranoid and worried. Also Im uncircumcised...
I didn't enjoy this experince so I made an excuse and quickly left. When I got home, I rinsed my mouth and didn;t feel good and ended up vomitting out all much lunch and breakfast...could this potentially affect my hiv risk?

Im just really young and have my whole life infront of me. I don't want this small experiment to have such a huge effect on my future plans.
Could someone please tell me if I need an HIV test and how much at risk I am? Im just realled stressed and worried about this stupid encounter.

Basically you are worrying needlessly. The most important fact is that you used a condom for anal intercourse. Sexually the only confirmed risks for the sexual transmission of HIV are unprotected vaginal and anal intercourse. As long as condoms are always used properly for those activities you will be well protected.

If the condom had broken you would definitely have known it. It's not about itty bitty little holes as some people think. When it goes the whole think ends up looking like a hoop on your penis.

As for oral, the risk is really only theoretical. Your saliva contains over a dozen elements and proteins which very effectively prevent the transmission of viable HIV.

I just want to educate about not using the word "clean" in relation to HIV. Someone is not dirty or clean. They are either negative or positive. To use clean is to imply people who have HIV are dirty. I am sure you don't want to be insulting in that way.

This time out there is no cause for concern about HIV. Get on with your life and make sure you keep using those condoms.

Sorry, didn;t mean to offend anyone.
Thanks for the reassurance and information , but I had a few other quick questions which may sound a bit stupid nevertheless....

Like me and the guy lay down and our penises were rubbing on each other...there could have possibly been some of his precum transferred to my penis. Is that a risk? Also when I was masturbating alongside him, I think I might have had a bit of precum on my hand while wanking- could that pose any threat? And according to the information given above, deep kissing would also be harmless in terms of Hiv too...

Also vomitting has no effect?

Thanks for your Time and Patience. You guys are honestly doing a great job here

HIV is unable to reproduce outside its living host (unlike many bacteria or fungi, which may do so under suitable conditions), except under laboratory conditions; therefore, it does not spread or maintain infectiousness outside its host.

HIV is transmitted by;
Unprotected penetrative anal and/or vaginal sex
Sharing works with other IV drug users
Mother to child

None of the other possibilities you are asking about are risks for HIV transmission.
