Like Coming out all over again

Well it happened my partner (who is Neg) and I came out about my being Poz and well the world did not end there was not thunder and lightning and amazingly no Chik Fil A sprung up and attached us.  However, it did feel like a great weight lifted off of both of our shoulders.  In the dealing with getting better and labs and treatment and everything I now know that the part I neglected was getting friends in the loop and building and outside support.  Now the family hell they have their own issues and on meds I am most likey to out live them so that is a bridge that will be placed well in the future.
Diagnosed March 2012

i have yet to come out to any family member... i only tell disconnected friends (meaning friends who do not know each other) and professionals (case manager, priest, mental health therapist, doctors, nurses, pharmacist) who have and are still helping me manage my day-to-day life...

i don't know if i will ever find the courage to tell any one in my family... they all have their own problems to deal with... i don't want to add to their worries even though it has been two years since i have found out i am positive and have managed quite well...

in the meantime, we'll see... that is all i can say

I just came out to my kids and my mother. My mother had already known since my wife had called her. But I spoke to my kids this last week. It was anticlimactic compared to my expectations and took the news very well..
Now for the rest of the family. For now we (my kids, mother and I) have decided that the rest of the family has no need to know. We want to keep it away from the drama queens..
