The new age version of snake handling:

Believe in "personal power" and you will escape harm
Believe in God and you will escape harm

It's the same trick repackaged.

Idiots !!  Didn't say how much they paid, to burn a few layers of skin off their feet.

I can barely walk barefoot on a sidewalk or pavement down here, in summertime, without hopping around like a little girl and going  oooohh ,,oooohhh, ooooh,,,  ;D

I never liked that guy !

that's how I describe my neuropathy, like walking on the hot sand or sidewalk. LOL You sure won't find me trying to walk on hot coals. ROFL

this story has so much in common with those "christian" snake handlers who get bit. ;D

oops. I see you already noticed that similarity GSO.  ;) I should also mention that my BF points out that all these people have voting rights too.  ROFL

Me neither!  He must be 100 years old, despite claiming to be born 1960, because I seem to remember he was around when I was quite young.  He looked like Lurch back then, I thought, and then it seemed to me he got his face rebuilt.

I remember this, too:
"In 1994, President Bill Clinton invited Robbins, Marianne Williamson and Steven R. Covey to a meeting at Camp David. All parties "refused to divulge the substance of their meeting with the Clintons."

Grrr.
