Congrats!
Grandchildren are so much fun -- all the good parts of kids for you -- all the "not so good" can be left to mom and dad.

Well he still at Riley hospital and got a long way to go. He's got a bag that is on he's belly to poop in from he's intestines be there for 5 to 6 weeks then put him back together be a long 10 to 15 weeks.

And my daughter got a room at the Ronald McDonald House at Riley . They pay 6 dollars a night or what they can give them and they help alot of family's out. Free food gas money all walk of like there .

They have a police pick you up  if it's late so anything will happen to you in Indy . And people are so nice there .   ;D

Lugz..

It's so sad to hear what Benjamin is going through.  My heart goes out to all of you. If he has the same survival drive  that Grandad has, he will pull through this.

Sounds as though you all have some good support.

My thoughts go out  to all of you, and best wishes for little Benjamin ---Ray

We have a NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) at my hospital and when they give you a time frame that's the best news. It's hard watching those babies go through what they have to but most of them are little fighters and even if they have blinders and blankets over them they know when you are there. As an admin person, I just go thumb through their charts but when they start making themsleves be known I so wish I was a nurse or a volunteer or just someone who's allowed to pick them up and cradle them. We just opened up a Ronald McDonald house and it's a good thing for some of our parents.

Thank you for the updates Lugzsoo!
