Hello Sir, I would like start with kind of exposures I had. On the whole I had 3 vaginal penetrative sex. I used condome all the time. After that I had visited 4 different Transexuals. But I visited one of them very often. The kind of sexual encounters I had with the Transexulas is as below:

With one of the Transexual(Say T1) whome I visited very often I used to receive oral sex from her(i.e she used to do it on me..I never did it on her). I used a condome for all the oral sex episodes with her. Then with the other three Transexuals mostly what I did was nude hugging and cuddiling and with one I did whats called mutual mastrubation. Never ever did I have Anal sex or even unprotected oral sex. I did test for Hiv after all these episodes. It came out to be negetive. I tested at labcorp which was Elisa Test. The last incidence before the test was I had oral sex with a condome with a Pornstar(she performed on me) and all the Tran episodes were before this. The oral sex with pornstar was atlest 3.5 months befor my test. So episodes with Transexuals should have been more than 4 months before my test date. The vaginal sex encounters were long before I started going to Transexuals. So atlest 5 to 6 months. The last girl I had vaginal sex with I know her even till date and she is -ve. And the one of the Transexual(Tran1) with whome I used have oral sex with I asked here get tested and she tested -ve after 1 year I met her.

My questions are:

1>Based on above what is my risk? Can I go ahead and move on?
2>Recently I underwent nasal culture as I have having staph infection on my back. The result was that I have mild staph and Gram pos Rods possibly Diptheroids.
Should I be concerned about it? I went to a ENT doctor and he said there is nothing to be alamred about it. As a HIV expert what do u suggest??

At no time did you have an exposure. By all means move along.

helip,

1. Nothing you have done or have had done to you was a risk for hiv infection. You are conclusively hiv negative. You do not have hiv.

2. Why would a site that focuses on hiv have anything to say about a staph infection? It has nothing to do with hiv. You do not have hiv. Keep working with your doctor to deal with the staph. We cannot help you with that here.

HIV is certainly character-building. It's made me see all of the shallow things we cling to, like ego and vanity. Of course, I'd rather have a few more T-cells and a little less character. Randy Shilts
