man i have such stomach issues right now. started about 10 days ago and are at a worst now. went to walk in. she did blood work to see infection and sent me for ultra sound of belly. thinking it might be gall bladder related. everything came back good. but what is causing this pain?? she was like washing her hands of it. I'm like ok well thank god these tests came back good but it doesn't change the fact I'm in wicked pain. guess ill follow up with my acid reflux dr and real dr on monday.  Thinking this is probably not hiv med related? been on meds for 1.5 years and this is really first time of sour belly. On truvada/selzentry

Hi surf18, Sorry, I forgot on Monday (being Manic monday and all!) and today I was on a late..but I managed to get some info!
The girl I work with gets the following symtoms for irritable bowel:
A very swollen stomach, terrible aches that just gets worse as the days go by, She had diarhoea, and bad flatulence (poor girl couldnt stop farting)  :o and Acid reflux. Because of the acid and diahroea she then could not eat or keep her food down. She takes LOSEC and NEXIUM for the acid reflux and it also helps with the irritable bowel and gastritis. She said that once you start the Nexium and losec -its medicine that you have to keep on taking or the symtoms come back. She was diagnosed with the irritable bowel/ gastritis by going for a gastro scope.
I hope this helps you diagnose your tummy problems, Hope you get it sorted out soon,
Steve

Have they done a stool sample?  If you've, uh, rimmed somebody you may have contracted giardia.  I did that twice.  Same symptoms -- bloated, diarrhea, stomach pain.  It's work a check.

Ugh o! Haven't done a full on rim in a few months. How soon after rimming did you get it? By the way my newest cat was dx'd with gardia couple months ago!
